Rain, rain, go away

Well last night J was driving to work, in the rain, on the highway. Was next to a semi, which you know creates all sorts of drafts. Hydroplaned. Spun out. Hit the wall. Ended up back out in the lane, facing oncoming traffic.

Thank GOD he didn't hit the semi. Nobody hit him after that. So he's fine. Truck is pretty damn banged up, barely driveable, but he's fine. Even went to work after. Didn't even call me! I was asleep already though, so I realize there was no reason for him to call, but still. I am just soooo thankful he is OK. Driving next to semis in the rain at night on the highway could have been disastrous.

Someone was looking out for my hubby today...

Tell "crash" I glad he's okay. I shouldn't talk. After all, I have 3 patrol car accidents and one personal accident...

Ha Ha after reading your comment, Bobby, I remembered Jim's patrol car 'incident'...lol brought on a much needed laugh.

Of course, he works with a guy who has so many patrol car accidents, if he has one more he's probably axed. Eek.

Spud, save up some damn bucks and get a car, woman! But if you're going to shop, at least you could shop for me, while you're at it :)

I'm glad your husband is ok...Dave had atleast 3 patrol car accidents that I can think of off hand. Then there was the accident where he had left home about 30 minutes ahead of me to go to work. While I was on my way to work. I stop for a red light and see his F-150 (I knew it was his) Smashed all over the intersection 2 blocks ahead of me.

Rescue had already transported him. That is like the worse nightmare to come upon that scene. He was pretty banged up but was ok.
